A Happy Anniversary to me and my husband. 12 years ago today in my parents back yard we tied the noose, I mean knot.  LOL!

Hi! Well today we got Momma home from the hospital with her huge cast and all.  She is settled down and I am taking a minute to write before Dad and I make a run to pick up meds.  Then it’s back down to David’s mom’s house to drop off the minivan.  A short visit with his mom and then home.  To bed. To sleep.  And sleep for a long time!  Been a bit of a long weekend.  Up at 3AM on Friday, up here to get mom. At the hospital until almost 8pm and back home.  worked 12 hour day yesterday and home.  Laid down and feet bothered me until 3am. Up at 5 to pee, think I took a little nappy poo on the potty because when I flushed and washed my hands it was 5:30am. Up at 9:30AM to start the day.  Damn I feel bad for whatever stupid fucker wants to mess with me today. LOL.

Okay looks like we might be gearing up to leave soon so I’m going to go.  Probably hear from me next friday when I am up for visit. Promise to be more chipper and alert then!

We have had a couple of rough weeks in the Gokey house. My father-in-law has been ill and he passed away on the 13th.  His wife, children, grandchildren and great-grand child were with him when he passed.  Only my brother-in-law John and I were unable to make it.  The service was yesterday and it was very nice.  They ran a dvd of photos that the family collected, played songs that the family picked out to remember him. What can I say about my father-in-law?  Charming, funny, kind and caring aren’t good enough.  I don’t think I have the words in my vocabulary.  The obituary ran in The Macomb Daily and you can see it at http://www.macombdaily.com/stories/081508/obi_obits05.shtml.
