In Remembrance

We have had a couple of rough weeks in the Gokey house. My father-in-law has been ill and he passed away on the 13th.  His wife, children, grandchildren and great-grand child were with him when he passed.  Only my brother-in-law John and I were unable to make it.  The service was yesterday and it was very nice.  They ran a dvd of photos that the family collected, played songs that the family picked out to remember him. What can I say about my father-in-law?  Charming, funny, kind and caring aren’t good enough.  I don’t think I have the words in my vocabulary.  The obituary ran in The Macomb Daily and you can see it at http://www.macombdaily.com/stories/081508/obi_obits05.shtml. And memories are being shared with the family at http://www.bcfh.com.
