Okay I pulled up my big girl panties and got myself a newer car. Yes I said car. After 21 years of driving trucks I have bought a Buick Century.

Every time I walk up to it I say “I bought a car!” in an amazed or dazed tone. But its a roomy boat with very good gas mileage compared to my truck. So that’s my ride. Now all I need to do it put my Bitch with Attitude plate on the front and it will be truly mine.
Greetings friends! I’m at my folks house and I am taking a few minutes to catch up with you all.
Lets see first of all 37 is great! Thanks to everybody that sent me warm birthday wishes. It’s nice to be loved and have all of you to love. I feel 37 is going to be a great year for me.
Today marks the end of the first month at my new group home. I am settling nicely. I adore my ladies and the staff are great. My phone doesn’t go off 25 times a shift and my chest doesn’t tighten when I walk in the door. I miss my guys and some of the old staff at my old home, but it was the right move for me.
My truck is dying and I am still struggling with the decision to buy a new truck or fix mine. So next Tuesday I am going to have my truck looked at and get the bad news. Depending on what needs to be fixed I may end up getting a new one, but I hate the idea of a payment.
Then once I get that mess straighten away I will work on getting the Internet back so we can visit more often.
Had to pause a minute to pee and do fold some laundry. I have a washer and dryer, but i wanted to come visit so in order to do that I had to bring the clothes or tomorrow I will be walking around in dirty clothes.
Other then that life is pretty normal for me I work and I sleep and pee. So I hope to be up and running from my house in a month! Take Care all!

As Cindy’s official post-er of the moment I am dropping in to let y’all know that she will be offline till she can catch up on the cable bill that will let her get back online.
Yes, this is what she has told me to say.
She had a GREAT day today – the day after her birthday – her “adopted” Big Sis and hubby (that would be me & my hubby) came over to make her a luncheon of home-made spaghetti and chicken parmigiana (her request) which we ate along with her longtime “adopted” Poppa. The day continued as Momma & Daddy (aka Jay’s Jammin) came over in the afternoon and brought delicious burgers on onion buns and an out of this world home made potato salad (must get the recipe), which made for a tasty supper. That was topped off with a good tasting birthday cake. I am sure that Momma will post pictures of the event on her blog as she was happily snapping pictures of everyone – and yes, we got one of her and the birthday girl too.
