It’s lunch time at the casa and I have made myself a nice salad and a huge cup of water that I will probably regret drinking later when I’ve had to pee a thousand times. It’s rainy and cold. The type of day that I would have normally went back to bed and snuggled with the dog and slept until it was time to go back to work. Not today. Today I plan on doing the rest of the dirty dishes, at least one more load of clothes and getting the kitchen in some sort of working order. Now that I’m making my meals I realized I can’t find anything in my own kitchen. Oh and I’ll take down the Christmas decorations from the front window. Do you think it might be time? Then I’m heading back to work at 3:00PM for eight fun filled hours with the numb nuts. Where there is more cooking and cleaning to be done there. Oh Joy! Then my god-daughter sent me an e-mail asking me if I’d be free to chat tonight after work. I said yes, but it’s friday night and she’s a 13 year old girl. So I’m a little concerned. Don’t they slumber party or shop on Fridays? Usually when she wants to chat it means she and her mother have gotten into it or there is a new boy. Either way I guess I’ll find out tonight. Maybe she’s wants to chat because she made the honor role. Or that her drawing won first prize in an art contest. Ah who in the hell am I trying to kid. She is so much like her father she doesn’t care about that stuff either. As long as I don’t hear “I’m Pregnant” I can deal with the rest. Okay I’m off to go get busy! Have a good might everyone!

I bought a vhs tape of The Shawshank Redemption at the thrift store the other day, so on this rainy/sleet/quarter-sized snowflakes day, I am going to sit down and watch my movie and crochet the border on the shawl I’ve been working on for a month.
It seems like getting an item to measure 60” by 30” is much more difficult than little bitty bookmarks.
Congratulations on the No Pop resolution. I don’t drink the stuff often, but when I do, my body tells me the difference. Water and tea work best for me.
