A day early, but the greeting still counts! I’m working Easter. SO I’ll be cooking and trying very hard to not eat the boys candy!! Colored Easter Eggs yesterday with my residents and my boss. I must say some of them were a real work of art! I splatter painted my green egg with yellow and blue glitter.
It was fun. Today we are at my mom’s house to visit with friends Mike and Dar and the folks. Ate a good meal (huge meal) laughed alot and now I’m typing to you! I hope you all have lots of big plans for tomorrow and enjoy the day!
What part of the chocolate bunny do you eat first? I eat the tail. Everybody should eat a little tail!

In the days when I was eating a chocolate Easter bunny and not creme eggs, I started with the mouth. That way, I didn’t have to hear it scream as I gobbled the good parts.
Happy Spring!

My grandmother, who by the way lived in Coldwater Michigan for quite a long time, used to make these football sized fudge eggs with a dark chocolate coating. AND she made one for each member of our family! (Five in all)
She would also make these Christmas cookies that were pure works of art. I wish I at least had a picture of them because they were gorgeous. She also canned, and made earrings, and I even have a quilt that she made when I was born that was to be given to me when I got married! She made three of those, one for each of us kids.
She was actually not a very nice woman, (she broke up my aunt’s marriage, and tried to break up my folks,) but I try to remember only these nice things about her.
