I nearly exist only here (online). The real world is overwhelming and upsetting to me to an often prohibitive degree. People invading my space, talking too much and too aggressively or presumptuously, not in sync with my pace or my understanding of what consideration means. Online you can read when you get to it, take all the time in the world to cool down and process, and write as much as you need to while allowing others that wonderful option of just not reading it. If it weren’t for this medium, I would likely be staring into space permanently.

oh. and my degrees are in math.
